We are seeking suitably qualified candidates who are eager to support participants through evidence-based strategies and personalised interventions.
In Behaviour Support, you will work closely with individuals, families, and service providers to develop and implement behaviour support plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities for this role are:
- Building strong relationships with participants and their support networks.
- Providing expert guidance on reducing challenging behaviours using evidence-based strategies.
- Conducting behavioural assessments and develop tailored support plans.
- Ensuring all interventions align with participants’ NDIS plans.
- Maintaining accurate and professional documentation.
We are interested in hearing from individuals with:
- A degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field.
- Experience or knowledge in supporting individuals with intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport.
- A willingness to travel for client visits.
- Experience with behaviour support plans and restrictive practices (preferred).
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
