If you are interested and wanting to continue completing a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, we encourage you to apply!The Apprenticeship will involve: Maintain wheels and tyresService and repair mechanical partsDiscussing problems with drivers to discover faults and diagnostic proceduresRepair service engines, cooling systems, exhaust systems, diesel fuel systemsRepair manual and automatic transmissions, braking systems, hydraulic systems & final drive assembliesDuties will take place in workshop that is noisy, hot and dustyDaily physical exertion such as bending, twisting, climbing, lifting, pulling or pushing heavy materialsAbility to use hand and power tools, drills and drilling machinesRequirements:    Must have manual drivers’ licenceConstruction Safety White Card (or willing to obtain)Understand the importance of workplace health and safetyHave good communication skillsEnjoy practical workHave good hand-eye coordinationPre-employment Medical and Aptitude testing A cert II in Engineering would be an advantageForklift ticket advantageous or willing to obtainWho we are?Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland.
