Community Solutions, in partnership with RoadTek a branch of the Department of Transport and Main Roads are set to deliver a Women in Construction (WiC) Program commencing in March 2025. This will offer women an opportunity to start a career within the Civil Construction industry.
To address the gender imbalance in the construction industry, RoadTek has developed a Women in Construction (WiC) Program actively targeting women of any age group or cultural background for full time traineeships in Certificate III Civil Construction at one of RoadTek’s nine operational units within Queensland. The successful candidate will initially complete a 3-week program in Brisbane then continue the traineeship at their local operational unit.
Community Solutions is seeking mature and junior age female candidates that are committed in completing a Certificate III in Civil Construction. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge and passion for the industry, labour experience desirable and the ability to work a rotating shift roster in a large safety-first organisation.
