Youth Worker – COSY & Get Set for Work

Nambour, QLD | Full‑Time until October 2026

We are seeking a passionate Youth Worker to join our Nambour team on a full‑time contract until October 2026.

In this role, you will work across the Circles of Support – Youth (COSY) Program and Get Set for Work, supporting young people aged 15–19 who may be at risk or experiencing barriers to education and employment.

In partnership with our Registered Training Organisation (RTO), you will deliver a program that combines accredited training with personalised support, helping young people gain confidence, build skills, and move toward sustainable employment.

• Support young people facing personal, social, and employment barriers
• Lead operational delivery of the Get Set for Work project
• Develop individual training and personal development plans
• Deliver non‑accredited work readiness activities
• Build strong connections with RTOs, employers, and community partners
• Maintain accurate case notes, reporting, and compliance documentation

• Understanding of the issues faced by young people at risk and challenges impacting young people in the community
• Certificate IV qualifications in Community Services, Youth Work, Employment Services, or a related sector
• Experience supporting young people with complex barriers
• Knowledge of labour market pathways and youth employment challenges
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Resilience, empathy, and a strengths‑based approach
• Strong organisational, IT, and administration skills, including MS Office and case noting
