You will work proactively with participants by coordinating support to ensure they are getting the most out of their NDIS plans, reducing barriers and putting action plans in place along the way. Other key duties will include:Building close relationships with participants, their families and external service providersDriving on a daily business to visit participantsHelping participants to understand their NDIS plans, their NDIS budget and connecting and negotiating with providers on behalf of participantsSafeguarding participants' wellbeing and raising any concerns Taking a holistic approach to capacity building and helping participants to break down and address their barriersEnsuring service agreements and service bookings are completedPreparing and recording invoices, NDIA reports and case notesWhat you will bring to the role:A solid understanding of the NDIS framework and NDIS Plans/BudgetsYou are a true people person with the ability to motivate and build rapport with participants, their families and service providersExtensive administration experience, compliance capabilities and IT skills - particularly with Excel and OutlookA business mindset and a customer service focusExcellent prioritisation and organisation skills as you will be working with billable time and KPIsAdditional requirements:Right to Work in Australia i.e. Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or visa with Permanent Work Rights - excludes visas with Temporary Work RightsA current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and NDIS Worker's Screening Check/Yellow Card, or the willingness to gain these clearances if successful.
